World Masters Men 1990 - Mastercaller

After becoming World Champion eleven months earlier, Phil Taylor claims the World Masters title as well. He defeated Jocky Wilson in the final. It is the second final for Wilson and it turned out to be the last one. The extravagant Scotsman will never win the Masters.

In the semi-final Taylor defeats Dennis Priestley, who shows himself for the first time at an important tournament. The two players will meet each other lots of times in the decades to come. Wilson beats John Lowe in the semi-final, who reached this stage for the seventh time. It was the last time he managed to do so.
