World Masters Men 2003 - Mastercaller

A year before it was a surprise that Tony West reached the final. In 2003, he was seeded third for the tournament so the surprise wasn’t that big anymore. The World Masters were organised to the first week of November for the first time. It was the thirtieth edition of the prestigious tournament.

The crowd witnessed one of the best darting afternoons in darts history. Raymond van Barneveld wins his semi final by defeating Andy Fordham in a deciding set, Tony West needs an eleventh and final set as well and the final takes all the sets to proclaim a winner. Eventually Tony West grabs the title: 7-6.
