From 22 to 24 October, the 23rd edition of the World Masters for the ladies is played in the Royal Spa in Bridlington. After four consecutive World Championship titles it is now the third time in a row that Trina Gulliver wins the Winmau World Masters title. For the third time in this series of seven wins Francis Hoenselaar is the victim of the dynamism of The Golden Girl. With an average of 96.84 Gulliver is the best and wins 4-1.
Anne Kirk and Karen Lawman must settle for a place in the semi-finals. Trina Gulliver becomes the first lady to win the World Masters three times in a row. Only Bob Anderson has achieved this before in the men’s competition.
