The sixth edition of the Winmau World Masters was held on 4 and 5 December at the Kensington Rainbow in London. For the first in history there is no lady from England in the semi-finals. Ann Thomas from Wales beats Cathie McCulloch from Scotland in the final 3-2.

In the semi-finals Davies had already beaten another Scottish lady; Kathleen Smith. McCulloch had been too strong in the semi-finals for the American Lori Braithwaite.
