Sharon Colclough reaches the quarterfinals of the World Masters a total of ten times in her career. In 1995 it was already her eighth appearance in it. Only in 1989 she reached the final, but on that occasion her rival Mandy Solomons is too strong.
In 1995 she is finally the best. She beats Pauline Dyer in the quarterfinals and defending champion Deta Hedman in the semi-finals, both in a fifth and deciding leg. In the final, American Stacy Bromberg is her adversary, and Colclough beats her 3-1. The last semi-finalist is Dutch ace Francis Hoenselaar, who is defeated 3-2 by Bromberg.
