The Rainbow Suite is also the setting for the second edition of the ladies World Masters. Defending champion Ann-Marie Davies does not get to the last 16 this year which paves the way for Sonja Ralphs to clinch her first major title. The English defeats her compatriot Lil Coombes in the final 3-1. The semi-finals are a full English affair anyway.
