The 2026 European Darts Open was held from 10 to 12 July at the Ostermann-Arena in Leverkusen, Germany, as the tenth event of the 2026 European Tour.

Several seeded players exited the tournament in the first round. Danny Noppert (5) lost 6–4 to Sebastian Białecki. Seventh seed Chris Dobey was beaten 6–2 by Dirk van Duijvenbode, and Stephen Bunting (6) loses to Ryan Joyce 6-4.

Krzysztof Ratajski began his campaign in the second round with a 6–3 victory over Max Hopp before another solid win to defeat top seed Gian van Veen 6–3 in the Last 16. In the quarterfinals, the Pole beats Nathan Aspinall 6–4 to book his place in the semi-finals. There, Ratajski averaged 100.40 in a 7–5 victory over Sebastian Białecki, securing his place in the final.

On the other side of the draw, Jermaine Wattimena also starts his tournament in the second round. The Dutchman started with a 6–0 win over Kim Huybrechts, before defeating Ryan Joyce 6–1 in the Last 16. In the quarterfinals, Wattimena edged past Luke Woodhouse 6–5. He then defeated Damon Heta 7–3 in the semi-finals to reach his first European Tour final of the 2026 season.

The final remained close throughout the opening stages, with neither player able to establish a decisive advantage. The Polish veteran proved more clinical, pulling away to secure an 8–6 victory and lift the trophy. Ratajski averaged 92.43 in the final, while Wattimena averaged 86.73.

With this triumph, Krzysztof Ratajski claimed his third European Tour. Jermaine Wattimena, despite the defeat, made it to his first ever EuroTour final.
