In 2013 the PDC launched the World Series. In that year, the PDC sends eight top players to Dubai and Sydney to spread the sport more global. In the years that follow the cycle steadily expanded and in 2015 the World Series Finals appear on the calendar.

In 2024, the World Series of Darts will enter its twelfth year. For the first time, seven tournaments are scheduled this year, in addition to the finals. No new countries this year, although the Netherlands will return to the calendar. In 2024, the World Series returns to New York, Copenhagen, Bahrain, Australia, New Zealand and Poland. The World Series Finals are back in Amsterdam.

This is what the calendar will look like in 2024:

January 18 and 19 | Bahrain Darts Masters | Bahrain
January 26 and 27 | Dutch Darts Masters | Den Bosch
May 31 and June 1 | U.S. Darts Masters | New York
June 7 and 8 | Nordic Darts Masters | Copenhagen
June 14 and 15 | Poland Darts Masters | Gliwice
August 9 and 10 | Australian Darts Masters | Wollongong
August 16 and 17 | New Zealand Darts Masters | Hamilton
September 13 to 15 | World Series of Darts Finals | Amsterdam

The line-up for the six World Series tournaments differs per tournament. All tournaments will be played over two days this year with the exception being the Finals which will be played over 3 days. In the first round, eight regional players compete against eight players who are invited by the PDC.
