International Darts Open 2019

The fifth edition of the International Darts Open was held from 13 to 15 September in the Sachsenarena in Riesa. For the first time in the history of this tournament, a player manages to successfully defend the title. Gerwyn Price wins 8-6 in the final against Rob Cross.

Price, the second seed, beats Kyle Anderson, Joe Murnan, Nathan Aspinall and Glen Durrant en route to the final. Cross in turn beats John Henderson, Joe Cullen, Richard North and Peter Wright.

It is the second EuroTour title for Price, both in Riesa. Cross is still empty-handed when it comes to EuroTour titles. He now has four finals to his name.
