The European Darts Grand Prix 2026 was held from 17 to 19 April in the Glaspalast in Sindelfingen, Germany. It was the sixth European Tour event of the 2026 season. Many of the top players were present in Sindelfingen.

Several seeded players were eliminated early in the tournament. Gian van Veen (1) lost his first match of the tournament against Joe Cullen. Niko Springer knocks out defending champion Gary Anderson (9) and Wessel nijman beat Ryan Searle (10)

Gerwyn Price started the tournament in the second round against Dave Chisnall, whom he defeated 6-4. In the last 16 he beat Chris Dobey 6-4. In the quarter-finals he faced Martin Schindler and narrowly wins 6-5. In the semi-finals, Price defeated Wessel Nijman 7-4 to qualify for the final.

In the final he faced Ross Smith. The Englishman also started in the second round and reached the final after victories over Cameron Menzies (6-3), Josh Rock (6-5), Nathan Aspinall (6-4) and Krzysztof Ratajski (7-5).

In the final, Price was more clinical on the doubles in the opening phase, allowing him to break Smith and move ahead. Smith managed to respond and stayed within reach for a period, holding his throw and applying some pressure. However, Price maintained the advantage and extended his lead as the match progressed. The Iceman closed out the match with an 8-4 victory to claim the title.

With this victory, Gerwyn Price claimed the European Darts Grand Prix 2026 title, adding his tenth European Tour trophy to his record. Ross Smith, despite the defeat, showed strong form throughout the tournament and reached his fourth European Tour final.
