On November 27, the final of the twelfth edition of the PDC Youth World Championship was played on the stage at the Butlins resort in Minehead between the semi-finals and final of the Players Championship Finals. This year's title goes to Josh Rock, who beat Nathan Girvan 6-1 in the final.

96 players competed for the title in Minehead. The first round was played in 32 groups of three players, after which the best two advanced to the knockout rounds.

Rock, who started the PDC World Youth Championship in sixth place, won his two group matches and went on to beat Henry Coates, Sebastian Bialecki, Dylan Slevin and Geert Nentjes en route to the final. His opponent in the final, Nathan Girvan, also won his two group matches and defeated Bradley Brooks, Lewis Gurney, Man-Lok Leung and Callan Rydz in the knockout phase. In the match against Lewis Gurney, which he won 6-5, the Scot also threw the perfect leg. Girvan wasn't the only player to hit a 9-darter. The Englishman Jarred Cole also did this in the knockout phase. His opponent in that match was Geert Nentjes. The Dutchman won this match.

Rock quickly takes a 3-0 lead in the final. Girvan still takes a leg, but after that, the Scot has no chance against the Northern Irishma. With legs in 10,13 and 17 darts, Rock wins the final with an average of 104.13. With this, the great talent is crowned the PDC youth World Champion of 2022.
