On November 28, the final of the 11th edition of the PDC Youth World Championship was played on the stage of the Butlins resort in Minehead between the semi-finals and final of the Players Championship Finals. This special year the title goes to Ted Evetts who beats Nathan Rafferty in the final.

In a year that had to be considerably shortened by the Corona virus, 32 players were brought to Minehead to take a shot at the title. The first round was played in 8 groups of 4 players, after which the best two advanced to the knockout round.

Evetts, who started his seventh PDC Youth World Championship, won all three of his group matches and then defeated Niels Zonneveld, Keelan Kay and Kevin Doets en route to the final. His opponent in the final Nathan Rafferty lost to Adam Gawlas in the group phase, but still advanced to the knockout stage as number two in the group. There he successively defeated Jack Male, Adam Gawlas and Geert Nentjes.

In the final, Rafferty takes the lead at 3-1 and he also gets one dart for the 4-1, but when he misses that, the match tilts in the direction of Evetts. He starts play better and wins four legs in a row for a 5-3 lead. Rafferty wins the ninth leg, but that's where it stops. It is Ted Evetts who wins the tenth leg and thus becomes the 2021 PDC Youth World Champion.
