On November 26, Dimitri van den Bergh wins the seventh edition of the PDC Youth World Championship. In the final in Minehead, he produces an average of 101.23: the highest ever in the Youth final. His opponent in the last game, John Payne will be beaten with 6-3.

During the qualifacation day for the final, Van den Bergh will beat players like Scott Dale, Ted Evetts and Luke Humphfries. Payne is responsible for the defeat of the title holder, Corey Cadby.
