In 2011 we have 5 Dutch players at the start of the Grand Slam, but only Michael van Gerwen survives the group stage. He then looses in the second round to Ted Hankey. Van der Voort and Van Barneveld don't win one match in the group, Jan Dekker and Co Stompe only win one match.

In 2011 Phil Taylor again is the strongest and he is so with a big margin. He does not get in trouble once and wins every match including the final against Gary Anderson with superiority. The surprise of 2011 is Mark Walsh, he reaches the semifinals after a couple of fantastic matches.
