It was an exciting final in Coventry. James Wade takes the lead as De Sousa has trouble throwing the doubles. The Portuguese recovers well, hits more and more doubles and takes a big lead of four legs. De Sousa wins the title with a beautiful 158-finish and writes history. He is the first player to win the Grand Slam of Darts as a debutant and he is the first Portuguese winner of a televised tournament.
