The tenth edition of the Austrian Darts Open was held from 26 to 28 April in the Steiermarkhalle in Graz. The 17 year old Luke Litter takes home his second EuroTour title this year after beating Joe Cullen in the final.

Littler start off the tournament in the first round against Austrian Zoran Lerchbacher, whom he beats 6-2.  In the second round he is up against Damon Heta from Australia. He leaves the tournament after a 2-6 defeat. The Englishman proves unstoppable and beats the Polish Krzysztof Ratajski in the next round 6-3. In the quarter finals it’s the Dutchman Danny Noppert that leaves the playing field after a 6-5 loss, and in the next round the Englishman Ross Smith follows in his footsteps after a 7-2 defeat.

Luke Littler places for the final against Englishman Joe Cullen. The Rockstar start the tournament as a seeded player, in the second round. He reaches the final after beating Darius Labanauskas (6-3), Dave Chisnall (6-3), Gian van Veen (6-3) and Stephen Bunting. This is the fourth ever EuroTour final for Joe Cullen.

It’s relatively even in the final, up until Littler breaks Cullen in the eight leg and takes a 3-5 lead. The Rockstar manages to secure one more leg for 4-5, but the match is as good as over. Luke Littler wins the final 8-4 with an average of 102.71.
