The fourth edition of the Autrian Darts Open was held in the Multiverse in Vienna from the 10th till 12th of June. Phil Taylor wins his fourth Euro Tour title by defeating Michael Smith 6-4 in the final.

It a successful comeback for is The Power on the Euro Tour where he had not played since the Gibraltar Darts Trophy 2014. With victories over Steve West, Kim Huybrechts, Stephen Bunting and Kyle Anderson Taylor qualifies for the final. Michael Smith also has a good run in Austria, he defeats Mark Frost, Ron Meulenkamp, Nigel Heydon and Terry Jenkins though all in tight matches.

The pre-tournament favourite is Michael van Gerwen, but the Dutch world number one loses in the quarterfinals to the Australian Kyle Anderson.
