The German Darts Grand Prix 2026 was held from 4 to 6 April in the Zenith Kulturhalle in Munich. It was the fourth European Tour event of the 2026 season. All top players were present in Munich. 

Several seeded players were eliminated early in the tournament, including top seed Gian Van Veen, who lost against William O'Connor. Other notable exists in the first round were defending champion Michael van Gerwen (2) and James Wade (4).

Nathan Aspinall started the tournament in the second round and progressed through the draw with consistent performances. He reached the last 16 by beating Ricardo Pietreczko (6-5) and continued his run with a victory over Martin Schindler (6-2) to book his place in the quarterfinals. In the quarterfinals, Aspinall beats Andrew Gilding (6-4) to reach the semi-finals. There, he secured his place in the final after a victory over Kevin Doets (7-2).

In the final he faced Danny Noppert. The Dutchman also started in the second round and reached the final after a series wins against Ritchie Edhouse (6-5), Karel Sedlacek (6-2), Jonny Clayton (6-1) and Krzysztof Ratajski (7-2).

In the final, Aspinall made the stronger start and took control of the match early on. Noppert stayed within reach for parts of the match, but Aspinall remained in front and secured the victory to claim the title with a score of 8-5.

With this win, Nathan Aspinall claimed the German Darts Grand Prix 2026 title, adding a fourth European Tour trophy to his record. Danny Noppert, despite the defeat, showed solid form throughout the tournament and reached his fourth European Tour final.
