German Darts Grand Prix

In 2012 the PDC launches the Euro Tour. On the European continent, the Pro Tour tournaments disappear and the tournaments are played on big stages with big audiences in the venue.

The German Darts Grand Prix is on the calendar from the sixth year and played in the Meimarkthalle in Mannheim that first year. A year later, in 2018, the tournament moves to Munich where it is played in the Zenith Kulturhalle. The only champion is Michael van Gerwen who beats Rob Cross in the final of the first year. A year later Peter Wright is his victim and in 2019 Simon Whitlock is no match for Mighty Mike.
