World Championship Boys 2015

For the first time since 1986 the BDO Youth World Championships were being held in 2015 at the Lakeside Country Club. The first ‘new’ world title went to a Dutch youngster, because Colin Roelofs defeated Harry Ward on the big stage. Roelofs won the final 3-0.

More than 70 young players tried to qualify for the final at the Youth Qualifier. Roelofs and Ward eventually managed to do so. Roelofs defeated fellow Dutchman Mike van Duivenbode in the quarterfinal and ended the hopes of Connor Levett in the semi-final. Ward defeated Callum Rydz in the semi-final and he saw off Dutchman Maikel Verberk in the last sixteen.
