The thirteenth edition of the WDF Europe Cup was held in Mechelen, Belgium, from 17 to 19 October. The Nekker event hall is the place of action. Nineteen countries participated in the men and women, including Russia, which is present for the first time in ten years.
The spectacular finish to the team tournament and the victory in the singles ensure that Gary Anderson, George Dalglish, Peter Johnstone & Mike Veitch deliver Scotland the overall gold at a WDF Europe Cup for the first time in history. They collect a total of 129 points. The silver goes to the English team with 117 points. The Netherlands takes bronze with 80 points. The gap to number four Finland is big, they finish at 49 points.
