Melbourne Darts Masters 2019
In 2013 the PDC launched the World Series. In that year, the PDC sends eight top players to Dubai and Sydney to spread the sport more global. In the years that follow the cycle steadily expanded and in 2015 the World Series Finals appear on the calendar.
There are five World Series tournaments on the calendar in 2019 plus the World Series of Darts Finals. Hamilton and Cologne make their debut in the World Series and take the place of Gelsenkirchen and Auckland. Las Vegas, Melbourne and Brisbane remain on the schedule while Shanghai disappears from it. The World Series Finals this year will be staged in the Netherlands for the first time, in Afas Live in Amsterdam.
4-5 July - U.S. Darts Masters – Las Vegas
12-13 July - German Darts Masters - Cologne
9-10 August - Brisbane Darts Masters
16-17 August - Melbourne Darts Masters
23-24 August – New Zealand Darts Masters - Hamilton
1-3 November - World Series of Darts Finals - Amsterdam
The line-up for the six tournaments differs per tournament. It is clear, however, that all tournaments this year will be played on two days, where in many cases until now that was three days.
