From September 4th to 6th, 2026, the Czech Darts Open took place at the PVA Expo in Prague. The tournament saw many of the world's leading players in action, including defending champion Luke Humphries, Luke Littler, Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price, Stephen Bunting and Gian van Veen.
Luke Littler started his campaign in impressive fashion against Niko Springer, averaging 108.59 in a 6–4 victory. In the Last 16, he defeated Krzysztof Ratajski 6–3. Littler averaged 102.48 and whitewashed Danny Noppert 6–0 to book his place in the semi-finals. There, "The Nuke" raised his level even further, averaging 106.64 in a dominant 7–3 victory over Michael van Gerwen.
On the other side of the draw, Luke Humphries began the defence of his title with an excellent performance against Beau Greaves. "Cool Hand Luke" averaged 108.98 in a 6–2 victory, before defeating Andrew Gilding 6–3 in the Last 16. In the quarterfinals, Humphries overcame William O'Connor 6–4. His semi-final against Gerwyn Price was of a high standard, with Price averaging 102.16, but Humphries proved stronger and secured a 7–4 victory to reach the final in Prague for the third consecutive year.
In the final, Littler made the stronger start and quickly moved into a 2–0 lead, but Humphries responded and turned the match around to lead 4–3. Littler then took control, winning four consecutive legs to move within one of the title at 7–4. Humphries refused to give up and fought back to 7–6, before missing two darts at double 16 to force a deciding leg. Littler took advantage, hitting double 10 to complete an 8–6 victory. Littler averaged 95.25, with Humphries finishing just behind on 94.81.
With this victory, Luke Littler claimed his sixth European Tour title and ended Humphries' two-year reign as Czech Darts Open champion. It was also an impressive return to European Tour action for Littler, who had not played on the circuit since the Belgian Darts Open in March.
