The Belgian Darts Open was held at the Oktoberhallen in Wieze, Belgium from 7 to 9 March 2026. It was the third European Tour event of the 2026 season. All top players were present in Wieze, including defending champion Luke Littler.
Several seeded players were eliminated early in the tournament. Among the notable exits, several top seeds failed to win their opening match, including Stephen Bunting (5), James Wade (6) and Josh Rock (7) who lost to Andy Baetens, Cristo Reyes and Kim Huybrechts respectively.
Luke Humphries started the tournament in the second round and beats Dirk van Duijvenbode (6-4) to move into the last 16. He continued his run by beating Jermaine Wattimena (6-1) to reach the quarterfinals. In the quarterfinals, Humphries wins a tight match against tenth seed Chris Dobey (6-5) to book his place in the semi-finals. There, he secured his spot in the final by winning against Michael van Gerwen (7-2).
Jonny Clayton, meanwhile, also showed strong form on his way to the final. The Welshman started his tournament in the second round and progressed steadily through the draw with a series of solid victories against Sebastian Bialecki (6-3), Ross Smith (6-5), Andy Baetens (6-1) and Niels Zonneveld (7-6).
In the final, Luke Humphries faced Jonny Clayton. Humphries made the stronger start and took control of the match early on. Although Clayton kept fighting, Humphries maintained his lead and secured the victory with 8-6 to lift the trophy.
With this win, Luke Humphries claimed the Belgian Darts Open 2026 title, adding his ninth European Tour trophy to the record. Jonny Clayton, despite the defeat, showed solid form throughout the tournament and reached his sixth European Tour final.
