The Belgian Darts Open was held at the Oktoberhallen in Wieze, Belgium from 7 to 9 March. It was the first EuroTour tournament of 2025. All top players are present in Wieze, including defending champion Luke Littler.

Nine of the sixteen seeded players immediately lose their first match, including the first seed Luke Humphries who loses to Mike De Decker. Michael van Gerwen loses to the Croatian Boris Krcmar and the fourth seed Rob Cross also loses to Ross Smith.

Luke Littler starts the tournament in the second round against the Englishman Ryan Searle, whom he beats 6-3. In the last 16 he beats Luke Woodhouse. In the quarterfinals he wins against Dave Chisnall and in the semifinal The Nuke beats James Wade 7-3 and thus qualifies for the final.

In the final he faces the Belgian Mike de Decker. De Decker starts in the first round and reaches the final in front of his home crowd, after victories over Thomas Lovely (6-5), Luke Humphries (6-4), Martin Schindler (6-3), Gerwyn Price (6-4) and Ross Smith (8-5).

In the final, Littler immediately takes a 3-1 lead by breaking De Decker in the fourth leg. He maintains this lead and even extends it to 7-3. De Decker comes back to 7-5 but eventually loses 8-5 to Luke the Nuke. Luke Littler throws above 100 average all Sunday.

The Belgian Darts Open 2025 is Luke Littler's third EuroTour title in his career. For Mike De Decker, this was his best performance ever on the EuroTour.
