Malaysia is the only country that has not previously competed in a WDF World Cup. They only come with their men's team, Norway on the other hand only bring their ladies to Australia.
The overall title goes to England for the fourth consecutive time with 128 points. Eric Bristow, Cliff Lazarenko, Dave Lee & John Lowe finish ahead of the USA with 102 points. Host Australia is third and for the first time in the top three with 77 points. Shared fourth are New Zealand and Scotland with 47 points.
