Justin van Tergouw was the player who impressed the most during the Finder Darts Masters 2016 and he reclaimed his title succesfully. In the group stage he had no problems defeating Wessel Nijman and Jordan Thomas, in the final he was far too strong for Owen Maiden: 2-0. Maiden reached the final by beating Maikel Verberk and Marvin van Velzen in the group stage.
