The fourth edition of the BDO World Trophy was held in the Memo Arts Center in Barry on the south coast of Wales from 26 to 29 May 2017. Dutch ace Aileen de Graaf claims her second major TV title on British soil.

De Graaf beats Lindsey Ashton, Rhian Griffiths and Anca Zijlstra on her way to the final. In the final she faces Russin star Anastasia Dobromyslova. De Graaf rushes out to a 5-0 lead and eventually wins 6-2.

Dobromyslova defeats Sue Edwards, Corrine Hammond and Deta Hedman this tournament. Title holder Lisa Ashton loses surprisingly in the first round to Anca Zijlstra from the Netherlands.
