Australian Darts Masters

The third Australian Darts Masters was held in Wollongong, Australia, on August 21 and 22. The PDC sent eight players to the WIN Entertainment Centre to compete against eight players from the Oceania region. This year's PDC representatives included Stephen Bunting, Jonny Clayton, Gerwyn Price, Josh Rock, Ross Smith, James Wade and Gian van Veen, alongside Australian number one Damon Heta.

James Wade began the tournament against Australian Tim Pusey. "The Machine" averaged an outstanding 112.73 and did not drop a leg in a 6–0 victory. In the quarterfinals, Wade faced Stephen Bunting before eventually winning 6–5. In the semi-finals, the Englishman averaged 101.27 as he defeated Gerwyn Price 7–4 to secure his place in the final.

In the final he faced surprise package Brody Klinge. The Australian started his tournament against Ross Smith. Smith averaged 102.88, but Klinge survived a deciding leg to win 6–5. In the quarterfinals, Klinge continued his run with a 6–4 victory over Gian van Veen. He then played another excellent match in the semi-finals, averaging 101.59 in a 7–5 victory over Jonny Clayton to become the only Oceania representative to have ever reached the final.

The final proved to be a high-quality contest, with both players averaging above 100. Klinge once again produced an excellent performance and recorded the higher average with 104.56, compared to Wade's 101.62. However, Wade managed to eventually secure an 8–5 victory to lift the trophy.

With an 8–5 victory, James Wade claimed the 2026 Australian Darts Masters title and the £30,000 winner's prize. Klinge collected £16,000 as runner-up after a breakthrough weekend on the World Series stage.
