Francis Hoenselaar became the second Dutch winner of the Ladies World Darts Trophy in 2004. After defeating Jan Robbins in the quarterfinal and Crissy Manley in the semi-final, she ended the hopes of the tournaments surprise Anastasia Dobromyslova in the final: 3-1.
In the quarterfinal Karin Krappen faced a fellow Dutch lady for the third time in a row and for the third time she lost. Mieke de Boer defeated her 2-0, but De Boer lost to Dobromyslova in the semi-final. The Russian had already created an upset by beating Trina Gulliver in the first round, averaging almost 90 per three darts.
