The thirteenth edition of the WDF Europe Cup was held in Mechelen, Belgium, from 17 to 19 October. The Nekker event hall is the place of action. Nineteen countries participated in the men and women, including Russia, which is present for the first time in ten years.
After Francis Hoenselaar & Karin Krappen took the gold to the Netherlands for the first-time two years ago, it is immediately a hit again this year. The Dutch ladies collect 55 points and that is 20 more than England that takes home the silver. Sweden wins the bronze with 25 points. Wales is fourth with 21 points and Russia is fifth with 18 points. It is the first time in the history of the WDF Europe Cup that exactly the same pair successfully defends the cup.
