From 29 to 31 August 2025, the Antwerp Expo in Antwerp, Belgium, hosted the Flanders Darts Trophy — the tenth event on the 2025 European Tour. With a prize fund of £175,000, including £30,000 for the winner, the stage was set for high-class competition.

A star-studded field arrived in Belgium, with top names such as Luke Littler (seeded 1), Michael van Gerwen, Stephen Bunting and more all in contention.

Early rounds brought drama: several of the seeded players fell earlier than expected, including defending champion Dave Chisnall, who was knocked out in the second round.

Littler entered in the second round and showed his class from the outset. He averaged around 110 in his third-round win over Ryan Searle, before surviving a tense quarterfinal in a deciding leg against Damon Heta. On his way to the final, he also defeated Daryl Gurney 7-1 in the semi-final to book his place in the title match.

On the other side of the draw, Josh Rock produced a strong campaign to reach the final. He overcame tough opponents including Stephen Bunting (6-5) in the third round and continued his momentum through the quarters and semis to meet Littler in the big match.

When the final arrived, Littler and Rock went toe-to-toe in what proved to be a classic. Rock surged ahead early, opening up a 4-1 and then 5-2 lead. But Littler dug deep, unleashed a run of legs and forced the match into a deciding leg. In the final leg, Littler pinned double 18 to complete an 8–7 victory, clinching his fourth European Tour title overall. His average in the match hovered around 107.40.

With this win, Littler further cemented his place among the elite on the European Tour. Not only did he add a prestigious title in Belgium, but he also showed that even under pressure, in a last-leg decider, he remains composed. Rock’s performance, though ending in defeat, underlined his potential and readiness to challenge for top honours.

This is Littler’s fourth EuroTour victory, and his second in 2025 after winning the Belgian Darts Open in March.
