The first edition of the Flanders Darts Trophy will be held in Antwerpen from 6 to 8 September. Englishman Dave Chisnall takes home the inaugural trophy. He beats Ricardo Pietreczko in the final 8-6.
Chisnall starts off the tournament in the second round versus fellow Englishman James Wade. He beats him 6-2. It’s an exciting quarter final, but Chizzy beats Scotsman Peter Wright, and sends him home 6-5, followed by a victory on Chris Dobey in the semifinal.
Dave Chisnall takes his spot in the final against Ricardo Pietreczko. Pikachu also starts the tournament in the second round and reaches the final after beating Andrew Gilding (6-5), Danny Noppert (6-1), Dirk van Duijvenbode (6-4) and Luke Humphries (7-4).
The final moves along evenly until 6-6. Chisnall then breaks his opponent with a 115 finish in the 13th leg. Chisnall finishes off the tournament in the next leg, taking home the trophy with a score of 8-6.
This is Chizzy’s second EuroTour victory of the year. Earlier in the year he won the European Darts Open. In total, Dave Chisnall has won the EuroTour eight times.
