Julie Gore managed to win the 2009 Zuiderduin Masters in Egmond aan Zee. In the final she defeated Tricia Wright 2-0. In the semi-final she had already beaten the number one seed Irina Armstrong. In the quarterfinal she was too strong for Dutch qualifier Daisy van Driel.
Besides Van Driel, three Dutch ladies competed in Egmond. They all lost in the quarters after being defeated 4-2. Francis Hoenselaar, Carla Molema, Floortje van Zanten and the before mentioned Van Driel did not reach the last four.
