The eleventh edition of the Winmau World Masters Youth was held on 6 and 7 December 1996 in the Paragon Hotel, London.

Carsten Hoffmann from Germany won the tournament by defeating Englishman Steven Smith in the final. On his road to the final, Hoffmann also beat Gordon Stanmore, Neale Lyann, Henrik Olofsson, Chris Jarvis and David Kendall. Hoffmann became the first German to win the Youth World Masters.
