The 2026 Winmau PDC World Masters took place from 29 January to 1 February at Arena MK in Milton Keynes. The tournament featured the top 24 PDC World Ranking players and eight qualifiers from the preliminary rounds, with a total prize fund of £500,000.

This year’s tournament saw 120 players compete in the preliminary round on 28 January for eight places in the main draw, joining the top 24 from the PDC Order of Merit after the World Championship. Jimmy van Schie, Connor Scutt, Wessel Nijman, James Hurrell, Jeffrey de Graaf, Shane McGuirk, Niels Zonneveld and Madars Razma were this year’s qualifiers.

The defending champion was Luke Humphries, who had won the title in 2025 after beating Jonny Clayton in a dramatic final.

The first round brought several high quality performances. Five time Masters winner Michael van Gerwen suffered a shocking early exit, losing 3–1 to Damon Heta. Meanwhile, players such as Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Gerwyn Price, Jonny Clayton and Gian van Veen progressed with convincing wins to the next round. All eight qualifiers were also eliminated in this round.

In the last 16, the tournament ends for fifth seed Jonny Clayton. He loses 4-3 to Gerwyn Price.
The second round brings a lot of close matches. No less than four matches end in 4-3, with Chris Dobey, Luke Humphries and James Wade all beating their opponents with this score.
Luke Humphries hits a nine-darter against Luke Woodhouse on his way to the quarter finals.

In the quarter finals, the top three of the World Ranking all advance to the semi-finals, together with Gerwyn Price (12). Luke Littler eases past Josh Rock (4-0), Price beats Chris Dobey (4-2) and Luke Humphries beats Danny Noppert (4-0). World Championship runner-up, Gian van Veen, beats James Wade (4-2)

In the semi-finals, Luke Littler faced Gerwyn Price in a closely contested match that went the full distance. Littler took an early lead, but Price responded by levelling the match and forcing a deciding set. Price misses a match dart and Littler breaks at a crucial moment to secures a 5–4 victory. Luke Humphries beats Gian van Veen 5-0.

Littler made a strong start and built an early advantage, but Humphries gradually worked his way back into the match, forcing a deciding set after levelling the score at 5–5. In the deciding set, Littler took control and converted his chances to secure a 6–5 victory, claiming the World Masters title. The win marked Littler’s first PDC World Masters crown.
