Danish Darts Open
In 2012 the PDC launches the Euro Tour. On the European continent, the Pro Tour tournaments disappear and the tournaments are played on big stages with big audiences in the venue.
The Danish Darts Open appears on the calendar in 2018 and is played in the Brøndby Hallen on the outskirts of Copenhagen. The first winner is Mensur Suljovic; he beats Simon Whitlock in the final. A year later it is Dave Chisnall who claims the title after beating Chris Dobey in the final.
