BDO World Trophy Ladies 2018

The fifth edition of the BDO World Trophy was held at the Preston Guild Hall in England from May 30 to June 3, 2018. Aileen de Graaf was the defending champion, but she would loose surprisingly to England’s Maria O'Brien in her first match.

The 23-year-old Fallon Sherrock would claim the title this week. She defeated Lorraine Winstanley in the final 6-3. In the final she had a fantastic average of 94.22. After her victory at the Zuiderduin Masters of 2015, this is the second major the English ace puts to her name. On her way to the final she beats Rhian Griffiths, Maria O'Broen and Roz Bulmer.

Lorraine Winstanley cannot add a second major to her World Masters title of 2017 in Preston. She does beat Paula Jacklin, Anca Zijlstra and Anastasia Dobromyslova, but Sherrock is just a bit better in the final.
