The eleventh edition of the Winmau World Masters in the ladies is a special one. The tournament moves to Earls Court Park Inn Hotel in London and will be played on 11th and 12th December. Leeanne Maddock from Wales surprisingly won the women's tournament by beating her compatriot Sandra Greatbatch in the final.

Maddock is only 17 years and in the same weekend also wins the youth tournament of the World Masters. In 1992, this is still a mixed tournament and she will be the only lady in history able to win this youth tournament. It's also never happened that a men or lady player has won the junior and senior tournament in the same year, in short a lovely piece of history during this World Masters.
