About World Masters Girls 2019
The 46th edition of the World Masters was held from 24 to 27 October at the Circus Tavern, Purfleet. It is the 34th edition for the youth and the first edition in which Katie Sheldon takes the title. In an exciting final she won 4-3 against Sophie McKinlay. Sheldon lost the 2017 final, but this time she won her first title.
Earlier in the tournament, the Irish Sheldon already managed to beat players like Amanda Lormeau, Lerena Rietbergen and Wibke Riemann. McKinlay consecutively beats Denisa Feklova, Julie Tierens and Tamara Kovacs. Rietbergen is the best Dutch girl with a place in the quarterfinals.
