The Finder Darts Masters 2018 were held from 7 to 9 December at the Zuiderduin Hotel in Egmond aan Zee. Glen Durrant is crowning champion for the third time, after an exciting final against Richard Veenstra.

Seven Dutch players participate in the group phase. Derk Telnekes and Richard Veenstra are the men who qualify for the quarter finals. Telnekes is too strong for Ross Montgomery and Martijn Kleermaker, while Veenstra manages to beat Dean Reynolds and Wesley Harms.

Andy Hamilton makes his debut in Egmond aan Zee, but he finishes second in a group with Mark McGeeney and Michael Unterbuchner. Glenn Durrant is 4-1 down in his first game against Scott Waites, but he still turns it into a 5-4 victory. Then he manages to win the deciding game against Gary Robson 5-3.

In the quarter finals, the remaining Dutch players play against each other. Veenstra wins 3-1 and beats Jim Williams in the semi-finals with the same numbers. Glen Durrant also wins both games 3-1: in the quarterfinals against Conan Whitehead and at the last four against Mark McGeeney.

In the final, it is Veenstra who initially has the initiative, but Durrant can still secure his third title. With that, he equals Raymond van Barneveld for the most winning titles in Egmond aan Zee. The Englishman wins the final with 5-3 and scores an average of 100.60.
