The seventh edition of the Dutch Darts Masters was held in the IJsselhallen in Zwolle from 11 to 13 May. Michael van Gerwen remains unbeatable in this tournament. For the fifth year in a row he writes the title to his name. This year, he beats Steve Lennon from Ireland 8-5 in the final.

On his way to the final, Mighty Mike successfully beats Terry Jenkins, Darren Webster, Kyle Anderson and Daryl Gurney. Particularly in the semi-finals Van Gerwen gets away well, as he goes 6-2 behind and survives three match darts from the Northern Irishman.

Steve Lennon reaches the final of a senior PDC ranking tournament for the first time in his career. The young Irishman beats Rowby-John Rodriguez and then gets a bye to round three because world champion Rob Cross pulls out sick in the second round. Lennonthen goes on to defeat James Richardson, Mensur Suljovic and Kim Huybrechts.

Michael van Gerwen takes his 24th EuroTour crown with this title and has now won 25 games in a row at the Dutch Darts Masters.
