The third edition of the BDO World Trophy was held at the Lakeside Country Club in Frimley Green from May 28 till 30. Lisa Ashton defends her title successfully.
She beats Casey Gallagher, Corrine Hammond, Anastasia Dobromyslova and Deta Hedman on her way to the title. In the second round against Hammond she also produces the highest average ever by a female darts player on TV with 98.84. Ashton is superior the whole tournament, she wins all her matches comfortably.
